Welcome to the Honors Program Blog!

Welcome to the new blog for the University of New Haven Honors Program. The blog is intended as a space for honors students to share their thoughts, activities, interests and experiences with their peers in the Honors Program, the UNH community, and those who might be interested in joining the Honors Program.

The Honors Program at the University of New Haven is designed for exceptionally motivated students who have shown evidence of high academic achievement. Students must complete four honors courses during their course of studies and in their senior year complete an honors thesis, an independent research project designed in consultation with a faculty member.  Honors students are also heavily involved in other activities, including student government, clubs, theater, music, athletics, study abroad, community service, and much much more.

All honors students are able to write for the blog (after requesting Contributor status on the site), but the program is also currently seeking student editors. Editors will be responsible for approving student submissions, scheduling the appearance of posts, and writing for the blog themselves. If you are interested in being a contributor or editor for the blog please contact me directly at mwranovix@newhaven.edu.
